Robert Hass
Robert Hass is a poet, critic and translator. He was born in San Francisco and is one of America’s most widely-read poets. His first collection Field Guide (1973) immediately established him as an important voice and was US Poet Laureate from 1995 – 1997. His most recent collection is The Apple Trees at Olema: New and Selected Poems, (Ecco Press, New York 2011).
